Between costumes, candy, and class parties, it sure can feel like keeping students focused is an impossible task. I’ve learned that the best way to survive (and even enjoy!) October is to have a a collection of no-prep activities on hand that will keep kids learning while still letting them soak in the Halloween fun.

Here are ten of my most favorite simple, no-prep Halloween activities that keep the season festive without adding extra work to your plate.

1. Halloween Poetry Practice

Bring poetry to life with a spooky twist. Halloween poems give students a chance to explore rhythm, imagery, and figurative language while enjoying seasonal fun.
