Your students will LOVE this Presidents Day math experience. They will have so much fun as they “trade” presidential trading and try to build the perfect deck. As they do they will review and work on important math skills.
Using Project Based Learning in your classroom is the perfect way to have your students incorporate math, critical thinking, and problem solving skills in a fun, real-life context. In this math project, students work to build the perfect presidential trading card deck. The catch is this. Each card has a different value. The value of each students deck of cards will depend on the cards they have collected. The challenging and relevant problems will have your students practicing operations with decimals time and again.
