Teaching the concept of area and perimeter can sometimes be a challenge. Increase comprehension by making it a game! Who doesn’t love a good game of War? With this area and perimeter war card game, your kids can have all the fun of the classic card game and at the same time reinforce those important concepts!
HOW TO PLAY
Area War is played just like the traditional card game. The catch is, each time the two players turn over a card they must calculate the area of the rectangle to see who wins the match! The player with the higher area wins!
VARIATION: This game can also be played as PERIMETER WAR! All the same rules apply, just solve for perimeter instead of area!
